Where He is taking us

I was surfing the WWW and came across a blogsite by Mike Hilliard. He writes: In looking at where God has taken us, we must look to where He is taking us. I guess we must remember the past fondly, live the present boldly and hope for the future passionately. Isn't that a motto to live by! Living an emboldened life... one filled with passion for the days when we will see Him face to face. Jesus never lived His life on earth timidly or in the shadows. Picture the young Jesus in the synagogue answering the rabbi's questions about His purpose. He had a purpose and He knew it; and it guided His every step, blazed his path, and forged his future with destiny. Can anything be more clearer and yet so difficult? Every day is a struggle--do I have enough faith; how much is enough; how much do I do without sacrificing my own concept of faith? Do I have that personal relationship with Him to discern these questions? Do You hear me? I would reword Mike's motto this way: Wisely remember the past as we live boldly for the present and passionately aspire for the future.
